How should a building be built? A Construction Documents contains all the information necessary to realise a building plan. Van den Berg Bouwkundigen has all the expertise required to produce the Construction Documents for contractors, architects and property owners.
A workable model at a glance
Once the Design Development and Pre-construction Documents have been completed, the Construction Documents are the next step. In this phase, a 3D BIM model is used to collect all the information the site operatives will need to build the structure. We produce the Construction Documents in close consultation with the client. This assures you of a structural model that is attuned to the wishes and requirements, right down to the last millimetre.
In this phase, we check that the design complies with the Buildings Decree, along with structural-physical and other relevant laws and regulations. Our knowledge of construction lets us identify clashes at this stage and work with the client in resolving them. This leads to a correct architectural model with ready-to-use working drawings for deployment on the building site. The 3D BIM model can also be used for coordination between the various parties involved in the construction.
Our modellers create a construction project at a detailed level in a 3D BIM model. The 3D model forms the basis for the IFC model for use on the construction site, and for the working drawings which are supplied in 2D. Using the 3D BIM model enables subcontractors and suppliers to be instructed on exactly what needs to be built: it is the definitive guide for producing the required components. Our Construction Documents are notable for its detailed elaboration. This also makes the model extremely suitable as a basis for a production model, for example.
